Ioana is a lawyer with Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL and a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2018.
Ioana holds an LLB from the Bucharest University – Law Faculty (2018) and an LLB from University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne – The French-Romanian Law College of European Studies (2017).
Before joining Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL, Ioana was a lawyer with Radu Tărăcilă Pădurari Retevoescu SCA.
Ioana provides legal assistance in the following main areas: corporate and commercial, M&A, energy and natural resources, structuring and implementation of EU funded projects and state aid, compliance & corporate governance and capital markets.
Her experience includes the assistance of domestic and foreign clients on corporate and commercial matters faced within their day-to-day activities (including representation in front of the commercial registry), the conduct of due diligence projects, as well as the drafting and review of various complex commercial contracts. Ioana was involved in projects such as the issuance of corporate bonds by the most important independent player on the operational leasing and rent-a-car Romanian markets.
In addition, her experience includes providing legal assistance in respect of renewable energy projects, regulation of nuclear activities, licensing requirements applicable to credit institutions and investment firms and funds, as well as public procurement projects.
