Order for the approval of the structure of the European unique identifier for the professionals registered with the commercial registry

We have summarized below the most important provision of the Order of the Ministry of Justice no. 1876/C/6 July 2017 (hereinafter the “Order”).
The Order entered into force on 7 July 2017.
General provisions
The Order approves (i) the structure of the European unique identifier – EUID in the following format: <country code>, <register id>, <registration number with the commercial registry>, which is allocated by the integrated digital system of the National Office of the Commercial Registry upon the registration with the commercial registry, (ii) the form of the registration certificate of the professionals registered with the commercial registry.
The European unique identifier
The European unique identifier will be used for identifying the individuals or the companies registered with the commercial registry, including for the purpose of communicating between the commercial registries of the EU member states through the system of interconnection.
The professional registered with the commercial registry may apply for obtaining a new registration certificate, incorporating the European unique identifier – EUID.
