Our colleagues, Alexandra Ovedenie and Elena Lazarescu, wrote an article on the transposition in Romanian of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive – MIFID II. The article talks about, inter alia, the entities targeted by the legislation, the compliance timeframe, the new obligations imposed to intermediaries, the impact of the new legal framework on the activity of credit institutions as well as some of its challenges.
