Radu și Asociații SPRL was top ranked in tax practice by The Legal 500 EMEA 2020 edition, the international independent directory which issues annual lists and guides following assessments of global law firms and lawyers. These rankings represent the result of a detailed qualitative assessment of the activity conducted over the past 12 months by more than 2,700 law firms in over 88 countries. The main analyzed factors were: the experience and depth of teams, specialisms and ancillary services, and, importantly, opinions of the clients (over 300,000 clients are contacted annually).

According to this year’s edition, Radu și Asociații SPRL team was included for the first time in Tier 1 in tax practice and has obtain an important recognition for its commercial, corporate and M&A practice.

It is for the first time that the law firm is ranked in the Tier 1 category (highest ranking) in ​​tax practice by The Legal 500 EMEA, 2020 edition, after occupying the same position during the past two years according to the rankings published by Chambers and Partners Europe, another prestigious international publication that issues annual rankings concerning law firms.

Radu şi Asociații SPRL also received an important recognition for the "Commercial, corporate and M&A" practice. In fact, this practice area was also recognized during the "Lawyers Gala" organized by ZF in September 2019, where the law firm won the award for "The biggest transaction in the FMCG industry".

Among the lawyers who stood out, Emanuel Băncilă is included in the “Leading individuals” category. He has an excellent reputation in the tax litigation practice, following the successes in court obtained for multinational companies in challenging the multi-billion euro claims made by the tax authorities. Alex Slujitoru has been included in the “Next Generation Partners” category, who significantly influences the tax practice.
