Radu și Asociații SPRL received the prize for “The biggest transaction in FMCG industry” for the consultancy services offered in relation to the sale process of Nordic Petfood towards United Petfood. 

The prize was offered during the 10^th edition of the Lawyers Gala organized by Ziarul Financiar, on Tuesday, the 24^th of September 2019, an event which became a traditional one on the Romanian legal services market, during which the law firms that annually offer legal assistance for the most important transactions are recognized. 

The project was a complex one due to the considerable number of potential investors (both strategic and financial) interested in the acquisition of Nordic Petfood, and also due to the short period of time during which the negotiations were conducted. As a matter of fact, within less than 2 months, the investors involved in the competitive process performed the due diligence analysis and the transaction documents were negotiated, the transaction pace being a very rapid one. 

The team of lawyers that offered legal assistance to the shareholders of Nordic Petfood, local market leader in the production of dry pet food, in the transaction that involved the transfer of two of the group companies to United Petfood, was coordinated by Andrei Ștefanovici (Senior Managing Associate). Eliana Blag (Senior Associate) and Irina Bica (Senior Associate) were also part of the team.
