Anca is a Managing Associate with Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL and a member of the Bucharest Bar.
Anca holds an LL.B. degree and an LL.M. degree in Employment Law from Bucharest University – Law Faculty.
Prior to joining Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL, Anca worked for various reputed law firms present both on the local and international market.
Anca is also a data privacy specialist, member of IAPP - International Association for Privacy Professionals. She holds a CIPP/E - Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe certification.
Anca has as primary focus and a major involvement in the employment practice area, providing legal assistance on all aspects of labor law. She is actively involved in due diligence projects, advisory work on employment law in M&A transactions as well as in day-to-day legal advice. Her practice includes advising clients during projects involving transfer of employees, international assignments, individual dismissals and negotiations upon termination of employment contracts with key employees.
Anca is also experienced in providing legal assistance on personal data protection matters being involved in compliance procedures related to personal data processing, authorization formalities with the Romanian personal data protection authority and also in offering legal advice with respect to a wide range of data protection issues such as employee’s video surveillance and personal data transfer.
Anca speaks English and Romanian.
