Miruna is a Senior Associate with Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL and a member of the Bucharest Bar Association.
Background:
She holds an LL.B. in law from the University of Bucharest and undertook the Judicial Career Master Program organized by the same University.
Prior to joining Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL, Miruna worked for a reputable international law firm.
Skills and professional experience:
Miruna is mainly involved in real estate transactions. She is experienced in providing legal assistance to major investors regarding the sale and purchase of real estate properties on the Romanian market. Additionally, she is specialized in assisting both local and international companies regarding all real estate and construction matters.
Miruna's most recent experience includes the following projects:
- providing legal assistance (e. due diligence, transaction advisory) to the Romanian branch of a South Korean multinational conglomerate for the indirect sale (through a share deal) of the client’s industrial property (plots of land located in Bucharest, measuring a total of 54 ha., buildings and industrial equipment) and residential property;
- advising one of the largest German retail companies on the acquisition of a series of commercial and industrial properties from various locations in Romania;
- performing due diligence and advisory work in relation to the purchase of several immovable assets by a major Romanian company specialized in the development, management and marketing of luxury real estate projects;
- drafting memoranda, legal opinions and assisting a major company in the wellness sector from a real estate perspective on various risks deriving from the client’s day-to-day business activity;
- advising the biggest retail chain in Romania in relation to their constant expansion, performing the real estate due diligence analysis and also providing assistance for the client’s day-to-day business activity;
- performing due diligence, advisory work, and transaction documentation in relation to the acquisition of land, industrial property and warehouses.
Miruna is fluent in English and Romanian.
