Sonia graduated from the Faculty of Law of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca in 2017 and from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the same university in 2014.
She further obtained a master’s degree in International Arbitration from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest in 2020.
Prior to joining Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL, Sonia collaborated with several law firms in Bucharest, gaining experience in energy and regulatory matters and international arbitration.
Sonia provides legal advice on matters related to energy and natural resources, as well as environmental law.
Her experience covers a broad range of projects, including legal due diligence, regulatory assessments, and the analysis of permitting and authorization procedures for energy projects.
Sonia speaks Romania, English and German.
