Transforming labor relations and the way they are organized is beneficial and can create new opportunities for companies to access the workforce available in other states. Companies can use the circumstances created by the Covid-19 pandemic to create and implement work structures "from anywhere" to their advantage.
However, these new structures also entail a number of legal complexities, as well as risks if employees' rights are not properly granted. Therefore, the consultation of the Romanian legislation and of the applicable one in the state from which the employees carry out their activity is essential, in order to be able to establish correctly the obligations of the employer and the employee.
